MSMRS

MSMRS is an alternative rock act built on busy guitar work, high energy, and a marriage of pop and experimental sensibilities. The sound is influenced both by the many decades of guitar music in the past, as well as the modern era of vocal processing. With roots in Y2K emo and hardcore, the ethos of DIY, and the passion to win over even those who don’t usually listen to the genre, MSMRS is always ready to push their own boundaries and encourage others to do the same. Live, the energy is real. Through sweat and blood they always pull through with a cathartic, emotional, and chaotic performance, while being grounded enough to have light hearted moments. MSMRS has accomplished a lot in the short time they have been active, from supporting many bands with international followings, (Isetmyfriendsonfire, GRLwood, Diva Bleach, Not My Weekend, Fluorescents, Stateside, kaonashi) as well as running their own festival that drew around 1,000 people, many of which donated to a local charity we were hosting. With a growing catalogue of studio recordings and a reputation for strong headline and support performances, MSMRS is a reliable and hard-hitting live act.
