Shanda & The Howlers

Shanda & The Howlers is a retro Rhythm & Blues revivalist band from Las Vegas, NV playing 50s-60s influenced R&B, Blues, & Soul reminiscent of that legendary Stax Sound. The group of five musicians solidified their line up in early 2015 and began writing songs immediately before performing their first show in the spring of 2015. Influences in their sound can be traced to such artists as Big Maybelle, Ruth Brown, Otis Redding, The Crystals, The Marvelettes, Gino Parks, LaVern Baker, and James Brown.
