Who Are The Minges? THE MINGES ARE: Messy Jessie - Vocals | Stephy - Bass/Vocals | Joe - Guitar/Vocals | Eric - Drums Sometimes, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and when your parts are compiled of four distinct musicians from the Las Vegas rock and punk scene that each bring chops, personality and a little quirkiness to the table, you have more than a wave- you have a tsunami. Ladies and gentlemen- I give you THE MINGES. Formed in early 2023 by drummer Eric Durko and bassist Stephy Muzio, the foundation of THE MINGES is rooted in punk rock. With Eric being a veteran of seminal Vegas acts as Dirk Vermin's DEAD DOLLS and SSR, and Stephy the former frontwoman of KINDEREWHORE and AUDICY, they reached out to another Vegas stalwart Joe Matkowsky, who also did time in DEAD DOLLS and had been the lead singer/guitarist of STAGNETTI'S COCK for over a decade. Adding former KNUCKLE FIST frontwoman MESSY JESSIE to the mix, THE MINGES began as an informal jam that became a sort of supergroup, as each member had paid their dues in the clubs and bars of Vegas. Jams soon became rehearsals, riffs became songs, and THE MINGES soon became the hottest new band to come from Vegas in years. With their collective tongues firmly in cheek, THE MINGES bring a hard rock, fun punky vibe to the table. But don't let their sense of humor fool you. Behind the offbeat lyrics to songs like "Jiffy" and "Sauce Party" are strong melodies, slick harmonies, and a groove that usually is absent in many hard rock acts. Their live act is full of fun and fury. With Eric's pounding rhythms, Stephy's rock solid pocket and Joe's hammering power chords, THE MINGES set a sonic stage for Jessie to own, with her powerful pipes and witty banter that always keeps the crowd engaged.
